Job summary

We are looking to recruit a temporary (6 months) CBT Therapist in North York Community Team which provides support and intervention for working age adults experiencing severe mental health difficulties. This is an exciting time to join and be part of the transformation journey that the Community Mental Health Framework (CMHF) brings for increasing access to evidence based psychological therapies.

We would welcome applications from BABCP accredited CBT therapists, further training in competences for severe mental health problems would be desirable.

It is now no longer a requirement for CBT therapists in Tees, Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust to have a core profession in addition to accreditation, we now welcome applications from CBT therapists with a Knowledge Skills Attitude (KSA) equivalence portfolio.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will provide high quality evidence-based therapy to working age adults experiencing severe mental health problems. You will work in collaboration with a wider multi-disciplinary team including other Psychological Professions colleagues. You will receive high quality supervision and CPD opportunities to enable you to achieve or maintain your accreditation.
