Job summary
We are looking to employ a hardworking, conscientious individual who will work as Clinical Team Administrator within the team at Springwood Unit, Malton Hospital, a 14 bedded ward caring for older people living with dementia.
The successful candidate will be required to deal with both incoming and outgoing telephone calls, greeting visitors to the ward, aspects of diary management, arranging meetings and general office duties.
Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will ideally have an awareness of mental health issues and will be able to demonstrate a caring and sensitive approach to their work. They will have an eye for detail and a high degree of accuracy. They will be able to effectively and clearly communicate with colleagues, service users and their families.
You are required to have NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent (or willingness to achieve within an agreed timescale) ITQ Level 2 or equivalent or willingness to work towards, Key skills in literacy and numeracy Level 2 or O Level / GCSE in Maths and English grade C or above, experience of working in a busy administrative environment and be proficient in the use of MSOffice with experience of patient records systems.
