Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and experienced individual to join our leadership team within our Health and Justice Services on a 18 month temporary contract /secondment. The Business Manager is an integral and valued part of the care group's leadership team. The post holder will work in collaboration with the current post holder to ensure that H & J Services are supported effectively. We are entering an exciting time of new business and mobilisation. This role will support the leadership team in the day to day activity of the service and provide cover for the tender and recruitment elements of new services during this period.
Due to the geographic spread of the service some travel may also be required.
Flexible working arrangements are possible.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will provide Business Management expertise in establishing processes and procedures that underpins and provides a robust reporting framework for Secure Inpatient Services. They will take a lead role in supporting the annual and strategic planning process - including emergency and business continuity planning - taking into account wider impacts on the Trust and ensuring negotiation with all stakeholders.
They will contribute to the successful overall performance of the Trust by being a member of the Care Group Management Team, supporting the Senior Leadership Huddle, General Manager and Service Managers to continuously improve performance and quality of services delivered across the Locality.
In addition they will lead on a range of projects, as required, to facilitate the implementation of the NHS Plan and other relevant national standards and strategies, which will require working collaboratively across the Trust and with external agencies.
