Following a recent reconfiguration of two separate services into one, we are developing our clinical teams.

We're looking for therapists who:

Main duties of the job

  • Degree or diploma and licence to practice as a speech and language therapist as approved by Royal College of Speech & Language Therapists
  • Current registration as a qualified speech & language therapist with the Health Care Professions Council

Desirable

  • Evidence of post-graduate study relevant to the post
  • Evidence of leadership training

Other

Essential

  • Holds UK driving licence and has access to a car for work purposes

Experience

Essential

  • Relevant post-preceptorship experience working with a range of children in the specialist area of communication and interaction
  • Working in partnership with children, young people and their families
  • Some experience of providing appropriate advice for EHCPs

Desirable

  • Experience of working in a range of environments, including education settings
  • Experience of multidisciplinary working with health, social care and education teams.
