Job summary
We are looking for a Ward Clerk/Receptionist to join the Perioperative Admin Team, providing support for the day case unit and associated departments within the Perioperative Team.
Main duties of the job
To function as a member of a multidisciplinary team, undertaking daily administrative and clerical duties specific to the ward and admission areas to support the provision of patient care.

Essential
- Customer service experience
- Clerical experience with computerised systems
- Good working knowledge of Windows based and Microsoft office applications
Desirable
- Previous experience in NHS or healthcare environment
- Knowledge of NHS and Trust's systems and structures
- Experienced in the use of the TrakCare electronic patient record system
Qualifications & Training
Essential
- GCSE Maths Grade C or above (or equivalent)
- GCSE English Grade C or above (or equivalent)
