Job Summary / Role:
Provide general Obstetric and Gynaecological services
Provide on call cover at the University Hospital of North Tees covering Labour Ward and Acute Gynaecology with medical colleagues
Support a range of clinical, theatre and outpatient elective sessions at both the University Hospital of North Tees and the University Hospital of Hartlepool
Participate in departmental teaching

Key Relationships:
Maintaining links with clinical and non-clinical colleagues including:
Medical staff of all grades
Clinical and Non-Clinical teams including midwifery, nursing, rota team and other professionals
Senior Members of the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Directorate

Provide general Obstetric and Gynaecological services
Provide on call cover at the University Hospital of North Tees covering Labour Ward and Acute Gynaecology with medical colleagues
Support a range of clinical, theatre and outpatient elective sessions at both the University Hospital of North Tees and the University Hospital of Hartlepool
Participate in departmental teaching
Gain Ultrasound scanning skills
Undertake mandatory training as directed
Administrative Responsibilities
Participation in the appraisal process (as appraisee)
Participation in the continuing professional development scheme, including maintaining relevant records as evidence
Participate and maintain full compliance in mandatory training
Clinical Responsibilities
Completing administrative tasks to progress patients care
Participation in ward rounds and staff briefings as required
Participate in departmental undergraduate and postgraduate education
Participate in quality improvement initiatives
