This is an exciting role to support the Learning and Development team across University Hospital Tees, playing a crucial role in supporting a broad range of learning and development activity, including activity for internal staff as well as external candidates. The post holder will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth service delivery.

Main duties of the job

To provide a high-quality administrative support service and ensure excellent customer care and experience for service users/staff/managers

To provide information, advice and guidance to potential service users and support the planning, coordination, recruitment, marketing and interview activities for the service's training programmes and courses.

When required, provide an efficient and lean administrative function to remain effective in financial, quality assurance and contractual compliance standards.

Maintain records whilst ensuring the accuracy, validity and security of information held which relates to programmes delivered and making sure the information generated meets the requirements of the department and Group.

When required advise potential learners/managers/service users their initial routes and individual learning and training needs based on programme offers.

Support operational running of education, learning and development spaces; including set up and take down to support educational delivery, a first point of contact for facilitators and delegates

  • GCSE A-C in English and Maths or level 2 equivalent qualification or experience.
  • Level 2 Business Administration, or willing to work towards or equivalent experience and skills.

Desirable

  • Level 3 Information, Advice and Guidance.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of clerical processes.
  • Efficient and accurate word processing skills.

Desirable

  • Knowledge of a range of data base and spreadsheet applications and ability to adapt skills to new data base systems.
