Occupational Health Group Nurse Manager

Job summary

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Occupational Health Specialist to join our dedicated team. This is a pivotal role supporting the health and wellbeing of our workforce through expert clinical input, policy guidance, and performance monitoring.

The post holder will provide leadership and direction to the clinical teams within Occupational Health and Wellbeing Teams across the University Hospitals Tees, and will provide a visible clinical profile and advisory input into the clinical management of the people who use our services

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be professionally accountable and required to act autonomously inproviding clinical advice and guidance to other clinical professionals based on own specialist skills, knowledge and experience of occupational health. The postholder will be responsible for relevant clinical policies, standards and processes in order to ensure they are fit for purpose and are delivered consistently across all aspects of the service's work for which the clinical teams are accountable. The postholder will be a member of the management team and will have clinical andprofessional input into the planning, provision and future direction of the service with a key focus on collaboration and horizontal integration.

The post holder will:

* Represent the Occupational Health Service at relevant meetings and committees, providing specialist clinical advice.

* Actively contribute to a positive team culture within Occupational Health and the wider organisation.

* Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

* Provide expert guidance to staff and managers on employment policies, including sickness absence, equality and diversity, reasonable adjustments, and workplace wellbeing.
