The Urgent Treatment centre team adopts a holistic approach to care and quality improvement. We have 4 UTC's Tees Wide North Tees, Hartlepool, James Cook and Redcar. This post is for NT and Hartlepool but there may be times in escalation for you to work cross site.
Main duties of the job
To provide support to the multi professional team, by undertaking appropriate duties following assessment and planning of requirements by the registered nurse. Additionally, to provide support by undertaking non nursing and ancillary duties, wound care, plaster casting, ECGs, Observations, BM's. Supporting practitioner when required.

Maintains effective communication and good relationships with children, parents, carers, relatives and staff.
Accept delegated duties within parameters of capabilities and competencies.
Complete documentation in accordance with Trust policy
Participate in programmes of in-service training as required
Chaperoning of patients if required
Maintain a standard of conduct and dress to sustain public confidence and promote the profile of health care employees.
Contribute to the prevention and management of untoward occurrences by responding to emergencies, summoning appropriate assistance, reassurance until qualified staff available, maintenance of privacy/dignity/confidentiality, maintenance of a safe working environment.
Clerical duties associated with the efficient management of the paediatric service including answering the telephone and relaying messages.
Checking and maintaining stock levels.
