Job summary
The post holder will work within the Business Intelligence (BI) team, reporting directly to the band 6's and will contribute and support on a number of quality, performance and workforce initiatives supporting the analysis, investigation and resolution of complex statistical queries to ensure compliance, against all national and local standards. The post holder will work within a team of BI analysts and developers and will be responsible for supporting this team in providing the performance requirements of the Trust at both corporate and care group level reporting.
The post holder will also be responsible for assisting in the completion of performance management reports, performance initiatives, including data collection and analysis, investigation and data inputting ensuring valid and reliable process are adhered to across a range of systems used within the BI function.
Main duties of the job
- Support the monitoring of progress against all key BI standards including Compliance, Productivity and Compliance, Quality and Workforce.
- Support the BI Team in delivering the Trust planning process which allows the agreed strategic direction to be implemented and amended over time.
- Utilise data in producing accurate, detailed and easily readable reports, ensuring validity and accuracy of the data prior to passing to line manager for review and sign off.
- Maintain data standards to ensure accuracy and conformity of information leaving the department.
- Support the completion of the corporate and care group dashboards and reports.
- Ensure information is delivered in a timely manner, facilitating both internal and external reporting requirements.
- Support the BI Team to highlight and investigate key variances in performance management.
- Consistently review and maintain databases and dashboards to publish data across the organisation.
- Support the information analysis and forecasting service to facilitate decision making and business strategy. Contribute as and when required in all area of work and projects within the Team.
- Ensure that all measures are collected and reported rigorously in a timely fashion, ensuring all priorities are met, prioritising own workload.
- Produce and maintain well documented procedures for all tasks and activities.
