Job summary

The People Projects and Quality Advisor will be a key member of the Workforce Planning, Quality and Projects Team, providing advice and support across a range of activities including Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI), Governance & Compliance and HR Project Support.

Main duties of the job

The role will work with the People Projects and Quality Partner and EDI Engagement Lead to ensure compliance with national EDI submissions, with effective monitoring and reporting of the Workforce Race Equality Standard (WRES), Workforce Disability Equality Standard (WDES), Gender Pay Gap, Equality Delivery System and the Trust's annual EDI report.

Job responsibilities

The postholder will provide advice and guidance in respect of Equality Impact Assessments, which will enable key stakeholders across the organisation to undertake their own assessments and by doing so, embed equality considerations as part of policy review and QI processes.

They will co-ordinate and undertake a range of activities to ensure that the People Directorate is compliant across a number of significant people practices. This will include co-ordination of regular audits of our People Policies and administration for the policy review process. This will also include oversight of the monthly workforce checks, which seeks to ensure that all staff are compliant in terms of professional registration, right to work checks and DBS renewals.
