The post holder will be responsible for identifying applicable cases to review, coordinating and managing the PMRT (Perinatal Mortality Review Tool) Review process. They will work closely and collaboratively with the bereavement team and wider governance team to ensure effective communication systems are in place and to ensure excellent standards of care and compliance with national and local standards.
A key component of this role is for the practitioner to work competently at an enhanced practice level providing care aligned to the four pillars of advanced practice.

Main duties of the job
They will manage discrete aspects of a patient's care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team, within their current level of practice and patient group, aligned to the four pillars of advanced practice and aligned to Trust policy, 'Enhanced, Advanced and Consultant Level Practice- Nurses, Midwives and Allied Health Professionals (AHPs).'

The postholder will contribute to quality improvement in nursing/midwifery/AHP practice to improve the quality of care to patients.
