Job summary

Act as the identified nurse for a group of patients by assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating their care.

If you hold a Graduate/Post Study work visa, you will only be able to work this role fixed term until the expiry date of your visa.

Main duties of the job

To care for patients with Haematological conditions, including medication rounds, IV administration.

Meet their holistic care needs by working with the multi-disciplinary team.

Arrange their SACT appointments and ongoing treatment.

Undertake additional training to become a SACT nurse.

  • Venepuncture and Canulation trained
  • 6 Months experience in an acute setting.

Desirable

  • PICC and PORT care trained
  • SACT trained
