The post holder should be flexible and adaptable to meet the changing needs of the work area. The post holder will require qualities of tact, discretion and courtesy in this very varied post.
The post holder must have the ability to work to strict deadlines and to be a fully involved and supportive member of the Team, providing comprehensive line management.
Main duties of the job
To provide comprehensive line management of the Women's Health admin team.
Proactively co-ordinate patients through their treatment pathway ensuring a smooth process and compliance to National Cancer waiting time standards, National RTT compliance standard, diagnostic standards and any internal targets
Act as key point of contact on behalf of the department and the Trust and deal effectively and courteously with all enquiries from consultant and clinical teams, Operational Managers, GPs, patients, other departments within the Trust and all other departments, as well as external providers.
