Job summary
We are a close team looking for an alternative therapies coordinator to support existing and new services within the Endoscopy team, such as Cytosponge, Colon Capsule and Transnasal Endoscopy to work with us to ensure patients receive the best care. You will have the opportunity of working as a key team member within the above services and will provide a combination of organisational and administrative support to alternative therapy patients
Main duties of the job
Working as a member of the Cytosponge / Colon Capsule and Transnasal team the post holder will provide a combination of organisational support and administrative duties to deliver a service to patients.
Co-ordinate bookings for clinics and organise medical records. Act as contact within the Trust for all communication with external stakeholders including, but not limited to, NHS England Central Team, Kent & Medway Cancer Alliance, the nominated pathology processing agency and manufacturers.
The Alternative Therapies Coordinator is to assist the Team by undertaking delegated aspects if their role for which they have been trained and deemed competent.
The Alternative Therapies may not always need daily supervision and should be able to take responsibility for their work within pathways of care and that of others within a broad framework laid down by the Alternative Therapies senior team.
