You will be working in a busy, friendly outpatient department seeing both GP and Consultant referrals.

The highly experienced team consists of 3 Band 7s with various special interests, 3 experienced Band 6s, a static and rotational Band 5, and Band 4 and 3 Support Workers. You will also work closely with the well established hand therapy team and gain further support from our Spinal, Upper Limb, Lower Limb, Rheumatology and Paediatric Extended Scope Practitioners.

Main duties of the job

You will assist in the clinical delivery of musculoskeletal physiotherapy services in the Outpatient Physiotherapy Department at Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother Hospital, Margate. Your caseload will consist of a range of 1:1 assessments and treatments as well as being responsible for independently running group sessions. The Department has access to a gym space and also runs various regular gym rehabilitation classes. A good range of and Band 5 rotations with MSK experience is essential and preferably some senior MSK experience, however this is not essential.

The post holder will be expected to provide regular post graduate training within their clinical specialty and work alongside Band 7s to complete some departmental managerial duties. The Trust has an excellent appraisal scheme and offers regular CPD training.
