This an exciting opportunity to join the People & Culture Systems Team at East Kent as an e-Rostering Implementation Officer,
The e-Rostering Team is responsible for supporting all staff groups across the Trust to progress through the e-Rostering Levels of Attainment as set out by NHSE, providing assistance to our staff with any second-line, more complex queries relating to e-Rostering and e-Expenses and also providing comprehensive training to new and existing users of both systems.
This comes at an exciting time for the team as we are beginning the process of implementing Medics with e-Rostering, rolling out of app functionality with Loop and utilising further system functionality to ensure quality improvement across all staff groups.
Main duties of the job
Supporting the e-Rostering & e-Expenses System Manager and Deputy Head of People & Culture Services in the further development of Optima, including the roll out of Activity Manager to both Medics and AHPs.
Provide second line support for users by resolving/assisting them with their more complex queries relating to both the e-Rostering and e-Expenses systems.
Providing comprehensive training to both new and existing users on a variety of e-Rostering modules as required.
Working closely with leaders, managers and other staff to ensure the e-Rostering system is being used efficiently and effectively.

Job responsibilities
Running reports from the e-Rostering system on both a regular and ad hoc basis in order to provide information to external keyholders but also to support internally with KPI monitoring and to give an overview when needed.
Working effectively alongside the ESR team to ensure that the information held in the e-Rostering system reflects that held within ESR.
Assist the System Manager in ensuring that pay and absence data for the Trust and its associated organisations are transferred on time to ESR, from both systems.
Participate in meetings with the Systems Team, but also the People & Culture function on a wider scale, to provide (where necessary) updates on the teams progress.
Attend both regular and ad hoc meetings across the Care Groups to provide focused support to areas within the organisation. For example, attending confirm and challenge meetings, or supporting with the regular Finance meetings held across the Trust.
Supporting the Systems Manager with ensuring both systems adhere to current Trust policies
Making proposals relating to the improved use of both systems, through the production of supporting data/reports
Carry out any other duties that are commensurate with this post.
