Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 7 Chemotherapy Nurse unit manager, for Celia Blakey Day Unit.

This role will involve managing the running of the chemotherapy day unit, ensuring the planning and delivery of treatment is given safely. To work closely with the Matrons, nurse educators and other members of the MDT to provide high standards of care to meet the needs of people living with Cancer.

  • Has sufficient experience to be a credible and competent clinical nurse and manager

  • The ability to influence and overcome resistance through the application of advanced communication skills

  • Previous experience of working as a band 6 Chemotherapy Sister
  • A good understanding of Oncology and Haematology pathways
