Job summary
A dedicated and dynamic analyst is required to join the Kent & Medway Cancer Collaborative (KMCC) Clinical Information Systems team in the role of Infoflex Support Analyst.
This 2 year post funded by the Kent and Medway Cancer Collaborative and will join the team in providing management of Cancer IT applications. It comes at an exciting time when new digital solutions are being created to support clinical pathways, including functionality to facilitate screening initiatives such as the Targeted Lung Health Check programme. Based at East Kent Hospitals, this post provides IT application support to the four member Trusts of the Kent and Medway Cancer Collaborative Network (KMCC);

The post will also enable the team to develop solutions to support users in improving data quality and completeness.
Main duties of the job
Infoflex, is a collaborative system, used by four NHS trusts to record and analyse cancer pathway information between them, at the point of contact with the patient.
The system is used for pathway tracking and management and to manage associated datasets and data extraction including Cancer Outcomes and Services Dataset (COSD) and national site-specific audits.
In addition the system is used by clinicians as an cancer electronic patient record including the recording of remote monitoring pathways and electronic holistic needs assessments.
The post holder will be the first point of contact for all end-user support queries, responsible for resolving issues by dealing directly with users, department managers and vendor support, ensuring systems are managed to provide optimal support and function to KMCC.
About us
Kent and Medway Cancer Collaborative comprises of Pharmacy, Service Improvement, Patient and Public Engagement and IT. We work in partnership with healthcare providers, commissioners, third sector organisations and other stakeholders to increase cancer survival across Kent and Medway.
Although funded by the KMCC, the IT application team are based within and employed by East Kent Hospitals.
We are one of the largest hospital trusts in England, with three acute hospitals and community sites serving a local population of around 700,000.We also provide specialist services for Kent and Medway.
