Job summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced MRI Reporting Radiographer with proven record of competent MRI Reporting to work in a team of MRI Reporting Radiographers at Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother Hospital, Margate. The post holder to demonstrate ability to work under pressure and meet their KPI's set by the line manager to support the service requirements.
The MRI Department at EKHUFT is a very busy department currently housing 2 x Siemens 1.5T Aera, 2 x Siemens 3T Skyra and 1 x Philips Ambition and mobile scanner operations across the service to support the demand. Service is operates 7 days a week including bank holidays.

Main duties of the job
This is very exciting opportunity to be involved in Radiographers based reporting service and involve in the internal project and helps install and establish new services in the trust. The MRI service is open from 08:00 to 20:00 Hours, 7 days a week. The large range of MR imaging is undertaken, including basic Cardio / vascular MRI imaging.
The post holder will be required to carry out a wide range of clinical / reporting duties as advanced practitioner, acting on their own initiative, and using a wide range of professional, analytical and reasoning skills when judging a variety of complex clinical, staff, and operational problems. Leading and supervising the MRI reporting team with responsibilities for maintaining own Reporting targets.

Our MRI services based at William Harvey Hospital, Kent and Canterbury Hospital and The Queen Elizabeth, The Queen Mother hospital in Margate. We also provide MRI services to local community based at Ester view medical centre.
A flexible approach to the working day is essential. The successful candidate will be a HCPC Registered Radiographer with a wealth of MR experience, both clinically and organisationally.
