Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a person to join our Integrated Therapy team as a Paediatric Physiotherapy Assistant in Dover.

The post holder will join a friendly therapy team based in Buckland Hospital which also acts as a base for NHS Children's Services. The post holder will be required to travel to schools, nurseries and homes.

We offer training, supervision and support from specialists.

We are looking for a proactive, creative and highly motivated person with experience working with pre-school and/or school aged children, possibly within a school setting, to join our therapy team for 22.5hours a week.

Main duties of the job

You will be part of a team and support the Physiotherapists with the day to day running of their clinics and the therapy they deliver to Children, young People and their families in the Dover and Deal area.

You will be required to work independently with children and their families, or school staff, to carry out therapy plans written by the therapist.

Paediatric Physiotherapy is part of a wider Integrated Therapy Service including Paediatric Speech and Language Therapy and Occupational Therapy and sits alongside Community Paediatric Services all of which are based at Buckland hospital. There will be opportunities to work alongside other professions to represent the Physiotherapist and/or the integrated team.
