Job summary
Outpatients are looking for a Deputy General Manager to support the General Manager in the delivery of operational services across Outpatients. The Deputy General Manager will assist the General Manager and project management team by implementing and managing systems and processes to ensure that all services are delivered in accordance with Trust key performance indicators (KPI's).
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of high quality, cost effective patient care within budget constraints. They will provide professional leadership to enable the services to respond effectively to the challenges it will face whilst providing efficient clinical and operational services.
The successful candidate will have at least five years' experience of working in a busy clinical or administrative environment and have managerial experience within a clinical or administrative setting, with a clear understanding of the health economy nationally and locally.
