A rare vacancy has arisen in our East Kent Surgical Acute Audiology Service.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, talented, motivated NHS Acute Audiologist.
Can you 'see' yourself living in the beautiful sea side town of Margate. You will also be covering clinics when appropriate in the beautiful Cathedral Town of Canterbury, and other parts of Kent. Be part of our fast paced, busy evolving passionate, dynamic, professional team in East Kent who use a blended approach to our service.
If you have a traditional BAAT/BTEC National Certificate in MPPM qualification or you may have a BSc/MSc in Healthcare Science Audiology we would be delighted to have you onboard our East Kent & Thanet Acute Audiology Service. However, you must have appropriate NHS experience consistent with your qualification.
Main duties of the job
- To support the Audiology Department staff in providing a high quality service
- To competently perform a full range of routine and complex clinical and non-clinical audiological procedures, for Acute Audiology Services
- To participate in any departmental projects, audits and research
- To participate in maintaining a safe working environment
- Clinical supervision of junior staff
