Learning and Development Administrative Apprentice

Job summary

Do you have a passion for learning and a desire to deliver great customer service? Our Learning and Development Team are looking for an apprentice administrator to join our friendly and customer driven team. We are looking for somebody that is motivated, keen to learn and wants to develop in our organisation.

You will complete a Business Administration Apprenticeship with East Kent College and be able to put it into practice in our busy team. You will be a champion for learning and apprenticeships and help us move our department forwards.

Main duties of the job

  • Act as the first point of contact for managers/staff booking training programmes offered by the Trust.
  • Use the computerised booking system (OLM) to book staff onto training and ensure that staff receive timely information about their programme
  • Organise and create training classes to allow for self-enrolment and troubleshoot issues that may arise
  • Coordinate the booking of training events including liaison with the trainers (both internal & external), booking of rooms, creation of classes on OLM, creation of registers etc.
  • Ensure completed registers are appropriately entered onto OLM and closed down
  • Create marketing materials to promote training events
  • Provide clerical support for the L&D team as appropriate, including stationery ordering, creation of handouts etc.
  • Take minutes and create agenda for two weekly team meetings
  • Monitor and support the use of L&D training venues and equipment
  • Support the administration of our Trust Welcome Days
  • Support the Learning and Development Senior Advisers and Administrator in general duties
  • Carry out any other tasks commensurate with the grade
