Surrey Downs Health & Care
The Integrated MSK Service of Surrey Downs Health and Care is a developing and dynamic service boasting a Consultant Physiotherapist.
This is a unique and exciting opportunity for a strong and ambitious physiotherapist with an aspiration to specialise in MSK to take the next step in their career.
The Successful candidate would be expected to represent Surrey Downs Health & Care Partnership, liaising directly with local health care contributors from the primary, secondary and tertiary care sectors.

Main duties of the job
- To provide a high quality physiotherapy intervention to patients in an MSK setting whilst consolidating and further developing skills and knowledge learned throughout degree course.
- To assess and implement treatment programmes as an autonomous practitioner..
- To work unsupervised reporting back and receiving guidance and teaching from the senior physiotherapists on a daily basis.

Experience & Knowledge
Essential
- Previous MSK physiotherapy experience, preferably within the NHS
- Sound knowledge of MSK related physical conditions
- Working knowledge of broad range of musculoskeletal/older people conditions
Desirable
- Pre-graduate experience in community settings
- Experience of working as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- NHS (or equivalent) experience as a band 5 in a broad range of rotational posts
- Awareness of or experience with Safeguarding principles and procedures
Qualifications
Essential
- Degree in physiotherapy
- HCPC Registration
Desirable
- Member of Chartered Society of Physiotherapy
- Evidence of CPD including attendance at relevant post graduate training in appropriate clinical field
Skills
Essential
- Ability to communicate verbally and non-verbally with patients and other professionals
- Completion MSK B5 (or equivalent) rotation
- Ability to organise and prioritise own workload
- Good time management
- Ability to carry out moderate to intense physical effort throughout the working day
- Competent IT skills
