Main duties of the job
The proposed job plan for this post is attached. This will be discussed in detail with the post holder onappointment and become operational.Job plans will be reviewed annually, following an appraisal meeting. The job plan will be aprospective agreement that sets out a consultant's typical working pattern, duties, objectives andresponsibilities for the coming year. It will cover all aspects of a consultant's professional practiceincluding clinical work, teaching, research, education, managerial responsibilities and external commitments.Additional programmed activities may be offered to the post holder. Any offer of additional programmedactivities will be based on the needs of the service and in line with the Trust objectives and will be reviewedon an annual basis.On Call Arrangements:The post holder will be required to participate in a non-resident 1:12 on call rota.The post holder will provide on call for Anaesthetics/HDU on the Epsom Hospital site

- Entry onto the GMC Specialist Register or be within six months of obtaining CCT/CESR or equivalent
