Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated individual to join the Sutton Health and Care Dietetic Team as a Band 6 Paediatric Prescribing Dietitian.
We are looking for a paediatric dietitian to join the Dietetics team to provide dietetic input and prescribing support to children with suspected cows' milk protein allergy as part of a Cows' Milk Allergy Prescribing Support service for SW London CCG and general paediatrics.
Main duties of the job
Paediatric Dietitian Band 6
To provide appropriate dietetic assessment, advice and monitoring regarding infants with suspected Cow's Milk Allergy.
To proved appropriate dietetic assessment , advice and monitoring in general paediatrics.
To ensure the appropriate and cost-effective prescribing of hypoallergenic milk formulae and nutritional supplements across Sutton.
To work with GPs and other healthcare professionals across Sutton providing expert dietetic advice on the care of infants with suspected cow's milk allergy in the community.
To guide patients, carers, community healthcare professionals and the acute hospital setting.
To conduct GP audits, training and education for GPs, pharmacists, Health Visitors and other HCPs.
