Clinical Site Manager - Band 7
A broad overview of responsibilities includes managing the Trust's bed capacity, assisting in the achievement of key performance and quality standards (e.g. emergency and elective admission access targets, single sex accommodation, infection control), supporting nursing, medical, and ancillary staff as well patients and their relatives - providing overall responsibility for the hospital site out of hours with support from the on call senior manager and the executive on call.
Due to the promotion of some of our team members we are seeking applications from experienced nurses to join our established teams of nurses who provide senior nursing support to the hospital site 24/7/365.
Main duties of the job
A broad overview of responsibilities includes managing the Trust's bed capacity, assisting in the achievement of key performance and quality standards (e.g. emergency and elective admission access targets, single sex accommodation, infection control), supporting nursing, medical, and ancillary staff as well patients and their relatives - providing overall responsibility for the hospital site out of hours with support from the on call senior manager and the executive on call.
Candidates will need to have a extensive post registration experience and clinical leadership / team leader experience.
Evidence of advanced clinical skills and professional development will be required.
We currently operate a system of 12.5 hr shifts, the working pattern being 13 shifts worked over a 4 week period and the post holder will be required to work day, twilight and night shifts.
This challenging role requires a broad knowledge of clinical specialities and good problem solving skillscombined with aflexible and adaptable approach.
