Main duties of the job

HCA - BAND 3 - FIXED TERM 12 MONTHS

We are looking for a Health Care Assistant to join our Urology department within the Urology Centre at Epsom Hospital, fixed term in view of becoming a substantive post.

The Urology Centre is a very busy unit with a well-established friendly team of nurses and radiographers.

Working hours: Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:00. This is subject to slight change upon needs of the service.

We need a unique person for this role that is positive,enthusiastic to learn, and works well within a team.

The successful candidate will have the full support of the very experienced Urology nurses within the department, in addition to a very engaged Consultant team who are all willing to support you to meet your training needs.

You will undertake a range of duties within the centre, p roviding a nursing assistant role to the multidisciplinary team and when necessary working without direct supervision to ensure the delivery of effective high quality care.
