You will ensure that high quality nursing care is delivered within the cardiology day ward. You may be required to work in other areas within the cardiology directorate according to needs. You will be responsible for patient care; cardiology procedures, pacemaker implantation, coronary angiography, coronary intervention and ablation.

We have a fantastic opportunity available for a highly motivated nurse to join our Cardiac Day Ward. The unit specialises in caring for patients undergoing a range of cardiology investigations and procedures and for the safe recovery and discharge.

You will be responsible for the nursing care for patients undergoing a range of cardiology investigations and procedures and for the safe recovery and discharge. If you have previously worked or have a keen interest in cardiology, we would love to hear from you!

We aim to provide a service that is tailored to the individual's need as well as ensuring staff aresupported through regular clinical supervision and on-going professional development. This is a developing role where you will be supported to work within other areas of cardiology and you will be rotating regularly through to our Coronary Care Unit at Epsom.
