Job summary

A new role has become available within The BANES Recovery Team. We are currently looking specifically for a RMN to join our service. Other professions at this juncture will not be short-listed, though please do look out for future roles should they become available.

We are a friendly and supportive team who are passionate about improving the lives of service users with complex mental health needs. As a key worker in the team you will be responsible for a caseload of service users with a range of complex mental health needs, working within the Your Team-Your Conversation-Your Plan frameworks.

We strongly encourage personal and professional development - and once you are established within the team, there would be opportunities to undertake training to support you within the role, from example, SCM, DBT, MBT or understanding psychosis.

Main duties of the job

Provide a Mental Health service to an allocated caseload of Service Users, and deliver a set of defined interventions within that caseload, having responsibility for the assessment of needs, the planning and implementation of treatment and care to meet those needs as agreed with multidisciplinary team and/or supervisor, coordinating care (with supervision) for particular Service Users, and contributing to the evaluation of care across a variety of settings where Mental Health or Specialist Treatment is available.

Liaise as appropriate with other members of the multidisciplinary team and other agencies involved in the care of individual service users.

Participate in Integrated Governance processes, particularly as they relate to own practice, contributing to the monitoring of service provision and performance, and standards of care, through data collection and audit processes.

Liaise with other services and agencies involved in provision of services to people with Mental Health and other vulnerabilities.

The service is non-stigmatizing and non-discriminatory, providing fair and equitable access to all, including people from Black and minority ethnic communities, those who are deaf, and those with learning disabilities.

The service operates with compassion, demonstrating a caring, honest, and respectful approach. The goal is to support people's recovery through a holistic approach that promotes social inclusion, self-management, and independence. The service provides evidence-based health and social care interventions, including psychological therapies, to reduce and shorten distress and suffering.

The service operates between 9 am and 5 pm, Monday to Friday. The service aims to offer timely interventions in locations that are accessible to people in the community, such as their homes, primary and secondary care settings, and other suitable locations.

We expect you to train in phlebotomy or be trained in phlebotomy to support with our clozapine clinic.
