Job summary
We are recruiting for an Independent Non Medical Prescriber in Central & East Bristol Recovery Team.
We are a large team that covers inner city, central and east Bristol area. We are a motivated, friendly and supportive team that are passionate about delivering evidence based interventions to the service users in our community.
We have a diverse service user population which includes the University of the West of England, Approved Premises and high levels of supported housing projects who support service users with complex emotional needs, forensic histories and service users subject to Ministry of Justice restrictions.
You will be well supported operationally by the Team Manager to enable you to thrive in your clinical role. You will also have the support from the highly experienced and stable team of Senior Practitioners at our Speedwell office base.
Our office is situated in Speedwell in East Bristol and is easily accessible from the M32 and Bristol Ring Road. We have free parking and access to pool cars and electric bikes for clinical staff to support easy access into the clean air zone and all areas of our community.
Main duties of the job
As an NMP you will work closely with the Consultant Psychiatrist and Senior Practitioner to demonstrate extensive clinical experience and knowledge to contribute to the MDT.
You will be able to manage complex cases autonomously as well as providing supervision and support to junior staff in the teamYour prescribing expertise will enable you to undertake assessments and prescribe independently within the team.
You will ensure excellent clinical standards are maintained within the team.
Effective caseload management will be underpinned by robust and effective individual supervision and leadership of clinical meetings.
