Job summary

If this describes you then this could be the job opportunity for you.This varied and interesting role is providing administrative support to the Team Manager and Clinical Staff of the Electroconvulsive Therapy Team at Green Lane Hospital in Devizes.You will demonstrate good initiative and judgement, as you will have to work independently but also as part of the wider administrative team. Good communication and organisational skills are vital.

Hours of work are 15hrs per week, covering Monday and Thursday from 8.00am to 4.00pm or 9.00am to 5.00pm.

Main duties of the job

Recording of accurate and up to date ECT treatment figures for use in management reports, reviews and audits. Additionally these will aid the ECT Manager to guide service needs.

Responsible for the procurement of office and medical supplies via Business World and NHS Supply Chain. Liaising with colleagues to monitor inventory levels. Maintaining accurate records of procurement transactions.

Distribution and collation of post ECT treatment follow up questionnaires to patient and carers.

Maintaining adequate number of ECT care pathways for referrals and other related documents; generating and posting appointment and discharge letters; general filing and the design and reformatting of clinical documents as required.

Attend meetings relevant to post and cover for team member absence.

Collation and recording of data in relation to physical health in the seriously mentally unwell (SMI) population. Circulating relevant information to internal and external medical professionals. Working within the boundaries and confidentiality and GDPR.

Provide general support and assistance to the ECT manager and team with ad hoc projects.

Supporting the ECT Manager in answering Freedom of Information Requests.
