Fountain Way Hospital are recruiting Health Care Support Workers to join our inpatient services!
Fountain Way Hospital inpatient team is made up of four wards:
- Beechlydene: 21 bedded mixed sex acute ward looking after adults of working age.- Amblescroft North: 20 bedded mixed sex older adults functional ward.- Ashdown: 6 bedded male psychiatric intensive care unit for adults of working age.- Amblescroft South: 20 bedded mixed sex older adults organic ward.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience working in a care setting that's looking to move into a role within mental health services or the NHS.
You'd also be a great fit for the team if you are looking for a change in career and have a drive to work with and support those who are currently receiving inpatient care for their mental health.
The ideal candidate must be motivated to learn & develop their skills and have a keen interest on working with people to maximise their recovery.
Main duties of the job
When working as a Health Care Assistant at Fountain Way Hospital every day is different. Our most important role is to engage with those that access our services whether that be by listening to their worries, providing personal care or engaging in activities.
