Job summary

We are looking for a registered nurse to work as part of the Specialised Drug and Alcohol Service in Bristol, supporting a caseload of complex needs service users with their drug and alcohol use. The post holder will also be involved in the running of our community detox clinic and popular group work programmes.

BSDAS is part of Bristol ROADS, the commissioned Drugs and Alcohol Service within Bristol. We work closely with our partner agencies within DHI, BDP and ARA.

We are looking for a RGN as well as RMN.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for a registered health professional with a passion for supporting people with drug and alcohol problems. The ideal candidate will have experience of working with patients facing social exclusion and of co-ordinating holistic packages of care that ensure all needs are met.

Good interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust and rapport with service users is essential as is the ability to work as part of a multi disciplinary team.

Good record keeping and administrative skills are also a must.
