Job summary

We are recruiting for a dynamic, motivated individual who embraces the Trust values and vision to be outstanding in all that we do, to join the Secure Services team in Band 6 Business and Performance coordinator role. The applicant must be keen to identify and develop performance improvement initiatives alongside the service, making recommendations based on their findings.

The team are looking for someone who is organised, able to work to deadlines and has strong IT skills with proficiency in using Microsoft Office packages. The post holder will be able to demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills and have confidence in communicating with staff at all levels within the organisation.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be expected to be responsible for the collation and provision of high quality reports on Secure Services performance as stipulated in service contracts with commissioners. They will undertake complex and detailed information analysis of service performance data in the production of service performance activity, reporting to secure services management in a timely manner any concerns or opportunities for improvement and learning.

They will work with operational and ward managers to identify opportunities for increasing performance, and providing narratives where required. They will contribute to ensuring that secure services performance is effectively understood by all senior clinicians and is embedded within the service to support achievement of targets, whilst proactively engaging teams to drive service improvement.

The post holder will be encouraged to continually develop in their own role and will be in receipt of support to identify CPD opportunities through their line manager.

They will ideally have some exposure toprevious project management and will demonstrate a willingness to develop systems, procedures, and best practices to drive performance within secure services. The post holder will work closely with the Quality Improvement Lead to support projects within secure services.

  1. Liaise with all clinical staff and services to lead, negotiate and collate relevant service performance information
  2. Provide high quality reports on service performance for a variety of audiences including Secure Services, Trust management and commissioners
