Job summary
This full-time, fixed-term Breast Clinician role offers the chance to contribute meaningfully to both symptomatic and screening services within North Bristol Trust. Secondment requests are welcome.
You'll work across the full breadth of breast imaging, including the NHS Breast Screening Programme, within a service known for high clinical standards and a strong commitment to patient care. Main duties of the job
- The symptomatic breast work will involve one-stop clinics and further assessment of the recalled patient .
- Participation at MDT meetings.
- Depending on experience, the role may also involve ultrasound guided VAE'
- There would be an expectation that the successful candidate would become involved in training, guiding, mentoring and continued professional development of Specialist Registrars in Radiology, Advanced Practitioners and Consultant Radiographers.

- Credential in breast disease management (NBIA,RCR) or within 3 months of completion
- Post graduate qualification in mammography and breast ultrasound
- Evidence of Continuing Professional Development including CME

- Ability to independently undertake all aspects of symptomatic and NHSBSP breast work
- An understanding of the requirements of Clinical Governance and Audit.
