This is a busy unit that cares for patients who have undergone complex vascular surgery, those requiring acute surgical care as well as vascular patients from the South West region.
As a Sister, you will lead the nursing team in the delivery of evidence based patient centred care, which is of high standard. You will work in partnership with the Senior Sister and ward team in developing the team and provision of the service, forming working relationships with the surgical teams and wider MDT that contribute to care of our patients. You will be involved in the co-ordination of the ward, patient flow, completion of audits and mentoring and supporting of junior staff. You will also be a key member in facilitating changes in needs of the service and play a vital role in the development of the ward team including their ongoing development.
