Job summary
Reporting to the Quality Governance Systems Manager, the post holder will work as a core member of the Quality Governance Systems Team, bringing together a range of disparate bespoke IT systems, end user created databases and spreadsheets into a single system (Radar Healthcare).
The potholder's role is key in the provision and support of the Quality Governance data management and interface systems; covering the design, development, implementation, support and maintenance of infrastructure reporting.
They will also be responsible for creating dashboards in Power BI from multiple systems including the Radar Healthcare system, Careflow and others to give a consolidated view and support the data-driven CQC requirements. The postholder will also deputise for the Quality Governance Systems Manager on occasions.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will have an understanding of the key Quality Governance System (Radar Healthcare) and the business processes for each of the Quality Governance work-streams within it. Currently 13 business processes/stakeholders including Safeguarding, Patient Experience, Information Governance, Legal and Nursing Quality.
The post holder will work effectively with Quality Governance leads, Divisional Management Teams and Divisional Governance Teams to advise and shape the development of effective internal reporting mechanisms. This will include working with the Nursing Quality Lead, to understand gaps and opportunities for improvements within both processes and systems.
The role also requires the evaluation and implementation of new functionality, which goes towards delivering the Trust's future information strategy. The Trust's underlying data warehouse is currently situated in an SQL server database, and the post holder will be responsible for building and managing the performance of various reporting interfaces which are both externally and internally facing, to ensure the Trust can meet existing and new national/local reporting and business intelligence requirements for Quality Governance.
