Job summary
An exciting opportunity to join the CNS team within the Breast Screening Unit at the Bristol Breast Care Centre supporting ladies who have been recalled from screening mammograms with abnormalities that require further investigation, supporting these ladies through additional tests and offering a telephone results service on a weekly basis. In addition to this the role involves health promotion around the importance of screening and breast awareness.
Main duties of the job
Supporting ladies recalled for assessment following routine breast screening mammograms.
Supporting ladies with further tests that may be required from an informative and psychological supportive nature
Attend Breast MDT meetings and relay benign results of biopsies to ladies
Health promotion across all areas of the screening programme, including poor uptake areas, and additional learning needs areas
