Job summary

This role is based at Bristol Centre for Enablement (BCE), in Patchway.

The Operations Administrator will provide:

  • Comprehensive administration support to the General Manager, Performance & Operations Manager and wider BCE teams.
  • Supervision of the BCE reception team; undertaking appraisals, return to work meetings, leave authorisation and coordination of reception cover.
  • Maintenance and document control of Quality Management System (QMS) for BCE services.
  • The first point of contact for BCE managers, employees, suppliers, and contractors and able to represent the Management Team both internally and externally to support day to day operations, and the delivery of the Centre, Division and Trust strategic objectives.

Main duties of the job

Education/Training/Qualifications

Essential

  • Good standard of education to NVQ4 Level or equivalent experience
  • A thorough understanding of Microsoft Office for the creation of documents and reporting including correspondence, spreadsheets, and databases (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams)

Work Experience

Essential

  • Experience of working in senior team environment supporting individual projects and administration
  • Experience of working unsupervised, and prioritising own workload demonstrating a high level of foresight and initiative
  • Experience in the management of confidential and sensitive information, ensuring information governance processes at adhered to at all times

Desirable

  • Supervisory experience of managing a small team
  • Previous experience of the NHS

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Essential

  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills with a high level of accuracy
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure with skills relating to prioritisation, delegation and time management
