Job summary
We currently have an opportunity for St4 level (or above) Clinical Fellow to join our Gastroenterology/Hepatology team for a fixed term of 12 months.
The post will be developed flexibly with the successful candidates, who may want more, or fewer Gastroenterology or Hepatology clinics, or endoscopy lists (training or service). We are expanding our research portfolio and that interests the applicant, a formal research contribution can be integrated into the job plan.
The post has a full contribution to the medical SpR on call rota.
Although this is a non-training post, it is very well-supported, with named clinical and educational supervisors, departmental and Trust level teaching and learning opportunities. The post-holder is encouraged to attend the regional Gastroenterology and GIM Training Days.
Candidates must have GMC registration that allows them to work in posts that are not recognised for training. It is essential that candidates have experience and familiarity with UK hospital systems and practices or equivalent, and have MRCP.

Main duties of the job
Gastroenterology and Hepatology inpatients including referrals, ITU and SDEC
Endoscopy training +/- service if wished
Medical registrar level on call
