Job summary

The North Bristol NHS Trust Bristol M.E. Service offer holistic assessments and support to patients living with ME/CFS, Post Viral Fatigue Syndrome and Long Covid. The successful candidate will be a Counselling, Health or Clinical Psychologist with a background in supporting patients to live optimally with ongoing health problems.

Main duties of the job

The Bristol M.E. Service offers holistic assessments and support to patients living with ME/CFS, Post Viral Fatigue Syndrome and Long Covid. The post-holder would be responsible for providing assessments and advice to patients, Primary Care and others as required such as employers regarding the optimal management of the problems faced by the patient. The Service offers individual and group-based support, and the post-holder may be involved in the delivery of groups which support patients in developing self-management and coping strategies.
