Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Payroll, Pensions and Expenses Department at North Bristol NHS Trust.
This post holder will be responsible for the daily management of the expenses system and ensuring information is processed in accordance with Standing Financial Instructions, nationally and locally agreed terms and conditions and statutory legislation.
Main duties of the job
Investigates and resolves complex enquiries from staff, managers and statutory bodies providing help and advice as and when required.
Interpretation and validation of expense submissions to ensure the accurate, prompt and efficient preparation and payment of weekly and monthly salaries in line with current national, local and statutory guidelines. To maintain accurate records and meet all key deadlines for the payment and reconciliation of payments.
To ensure the expenses system is fit for purpose and regularly reviewed. Leading on Implementation of new systems and updates ensuring the Trust are offering best value to the organisation.

- GCSE's (or equivalent) including Maths and English Grade C and above
- Demonstrate ability to effectively use Microsoft Office Facilities ie Word, Excel, Outlook
