An opportunity has arisen for a B5 paediatric registered nurse to join the Paediatric Outpatient Nursing team at North Bristol NHS Trust, Women and Children's Divsion for a 12 month fixed term position. North Bristol Trust has just been rated outstanding for caring by the CQC (2019). We are located within Southmead Hospital, close to the M5/M4, and on major bus routes into the city.

Main duties of the job
We are seeking an enthusiastic person with good communication and organisational skills, willing to develop their knowledge and skills within the department and whose attitude to changing environments is positive and supportive. You must be able to work within team as well as working independently using your own initiative. The department hosts a wide variety of outpatient clinics such as neonatology, allergy, dietetics, diabetic, developmental clinics and general paediatrics. Within this role there will be an expectation to complete venepuncture training and administer BCG to children up to one year of age.
