Resourcing Coordinator - Band 3

Our recruitment team provides a bespoke and centralised recruitment service to the Trust, ensuring the efficient and timely hiring of over 1000 staff a year. This role is fantastic and exciting opportunity for someone whohas excellent customer service skills,strong communication skills, good team ethic and a general can do approach to work.This is also an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to develop within HR within the NHS and work for one of the largest NHS trust in the UK.

The main hospital is based in Southmead, however you will be based on our Frenchay site.

Main duties of the job

As a part of your role you will manage and administer the end to end recruitment process for your caseload of vacancies,from job advertising to booking start dates and logging new staff details onto Trusts systems. You will also be required to provide a HR administrative service to the Trust which will include confirming length of service, providing references and supporting with honorary recruitment.

Job responsibilities

1. To administer the recruitment process, under the direction of the Team Leaders, to a high-quality standard and within agreed timescales.

2. To maintain up-to-date awareness of relevant legislative and procedural changes, as advised by their Team Leader or Resourcing Delivery Manager. Adapting working practices as appropriate.

3. To maintain an awareness of the current Trust vacancy position in order to advise applicants appropriately.

4. To contribute to the provision of an efficient, timely service by maintaining an awareness of the workload demands of other team members, re-prioritising own workload as necessary.

5. To coordinate the recruitment/redeployment administrative activity Trust-wide or external organisation under the terms of a Service Level Agreement.

6. To support the department to meet Key Performance Indicators and turnaround times for the processing of adverts and unconditional offers.

7. To administrate HR Administration processes for current members of staff from the Trust completing varied tasks e.g. extension of FTC, employment letters, NHS service awards etc.

8. To oversee the housekeeping of the recruitment system ensuring that applicants are processed through all stages and vacancies moved to outcome to ensure data is correct for reporting purposes.
