Job summary

We are looking for a positive and effective person to lead and manage all aspects of the day-to-day running of the Volunteer Service at North Bristol NHS Trust for 12 months (maternity leave cover).

Please note this job requires the post holder to be on-site at least 4 days a week.

Main duties of the job

The main duties of the job include:

  • Continuing implementation of the Volunteer Services 3-year Strategic Plan and identifying appropriate new additional development opportunities to effectively oversee the recruitment, training, retention, and support/supervision of volunteers.
  • To accurately measure and record impact, and to write clear and concise reports to relevant Patient experience groups.
  • Effective partnership working with key stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Developing and maintaining a positive working partnership with the Southmead Charity through the Director of Fundraising.
  • Effectively managing the Voluntary Services budget and charitable funds.
