Main duties of the job
Main Duties of the Role

Deliver hands-on, person-centred care, supporting qualified staff by assisting patients with their daily personal care needs in a compassionate and respectful way.

Play an active role in monitoring patient wellbeing, sharing observations and changes in condition with qualified staff to help ensure safe, responsive care.

Support the wider multidisciplinary team by carrying out delegated tasks that contribute to each patient's individualised care plan. This may include helping with personal care, mealtimes, mobility and general day-to-day support that enhances comfort and independence.

Be a valued member of a 24/7 service, working as part of a supportive team that keeps the ward running smoothly around the clock. This includes participating in a fair rotation of shifts across days, nights and weekends.
