Join our dedicated Children Looked After health team as a Named Nurse, where you will play a vital role in improving outcomes for some of our most vulnerable young people. Main duties of the job

The Named Nurse for Children Looked After will be the professional lead on all aspects of the Looked After Children's Health Service across East Riding of Yorkshire. Providing advice to Humber Foundation Teaching NHS Trust on questions of planning, strategy and the audit of quality of standards in relation to health services for Children Looked After. He/she will contribute to improving health outcomes for Looked After Children, in accordance with the Statutory Guidance for Promoting Health and Wellbeing of Looked After Children (DH DoE 2015) and the Intercollegiate document for Looked After Children Health Professionals (RCN, RCPCH, RCGP 2015)The Named Nurse CLA will work in partnership with the Designated Nurse (CLA) to ensure that statutory health assessment rates within East Riding of Yorkshire meet the targets set by DOH & DFE and ER CCG by developing new initiatives and programmes for supporting Children Looked After both in and where appropriate, beyond the boundaries of East Yorkshire.
