We're seeking an HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologist passionate about public health, prevention, and early intervention. You'll provide expert psychological input, consultation, and training across the teams, supporting innovative approaches that empower families and strengthen resilience. Main duties of the job
Provide high-quality psychological leadership within the Hull 0-19 Integrated Public Health Nursing Service, working closely with Health Visitors and School Nurses to enhance outcomes for children and families.Offer specialist consultation and supervision to Health Visitors and School Nurses, supporting them in managing complex cases and embedding innovative approaches such as the Solihull Programme.Collaborate with the Modern Matron and Service Manager to drive service development and ensure clinical excellence.Develop a detailed job plan with the Service Manager following appointment to ensure clarity of responsibilities and priorities.

Essential
- Full understanding/application of relevant clinical practice/standards/audit within identified clinical area
- Post-graduate doctoral level training in clinical psychology or its equivalent accredited by the BPS
- Skills in co-ordinating programmes of care, and providing consultation and specialist advice to other professional and non-professional groups
Desirable
- Broadly based knowledge of the theory and practice of advanced psychological therapies in specific difficult to treat groups (e.g. personality disorder, dual diagnosis, people with disabilities etc.)
Experience
Essential
- Demonstrable experience of working as a practitioner psychologist, to include a significant period of working at a senior level in the specific specialist field where the post is held
- Evidence of continuing professional development (CPD) relevant to the clinical area.
- Experience of working with a wide variety of client groups , across the whole life course and presenting with the full range of clinical severity across the full range of care settings
